If Urania has her way, you’ll be clutching your way everywhere. The Greek designer, whose real name is Urania Giourmetaki, founded her label in 2010, after becoming inspired by her father’s plexiglass business. Keeping it in the family, she handcrafts her hard-shell clutches (no shoulder bags or hobos here!) on her home turf.
My latest obsession from the fresh, playful label: a pair of clutches inspired by playing cards. Go regal with the elegant Queen of Hearts or give a more masculine wink with the Jack of Spades. Although I hate to separate this royal duo, so maybe both are in order. Both are handmade and come personalized to order with your initials. I can’t think of an accessory more subtly perfect for your next trip to Vegas. My poker face could still use some practice, but I’ll have the winning hand regardless.
